Presbyterian & Reformed Church of South Africa

The Union Chapel is a member of the Presbyterian and Reformed Church of South Africa (PARCSA).

PARCSA is a growing denomination of confessionally Reformed churches in South Africa with churches in Cape Town, Durban, and Johannesburg. Alongside our denominational affiliation we have relationships with several other bodies for the purpose of accountability, encouragement, shared objectives, resourcing and care. The following is a list of these partnerships.

Southern Africa Reformed Mission

SOUTHERN AFRICA REFORMED MISSION

SARM’s primary goal is assist Southern African partners with the planting of Reformed and Presbyterian churches (and those ministries that directly fuel church planting and result from church planting).

The board was formed in 2020 and functions under the authority and supervision of Mission to the World (“MTW”) and is composed of a mix of MTW missionaries, PCA missions-oriented pastors and lay people, and African national partners.

REDEEMER CITY TO CITY

Redeemer City to City is an organisation, birthed out of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City, which focuses on church planting for the renewal of global cities. Through training and resourcing we have developed a strong relationship with City to City.

SPANISH RIVER CHURCH

The Spanish River Church Planting Network is a family of like-minded churches committed to advancing the gospel of Jesus Christ by supporting other theologically reformed church-planting churches.
