TIME & PLACE
We meet on the corner of Kloof Street and Eaton Road, Gardens, Cape Town. We have a Sunday morning service at 10:00am which is usually usually about 1h15 long.
CHILDREN
Children are more than welcome in our service. On Sunday mornings we run a small Sunday School for children ages 3 to 11 and we do have good cry-room facilities for families with small children.
WHAT TO EXPECT
At our worship services we aim to create an environment where Christians can worship God in song, prayer, the sacraments, and by listening to the teaching and preaching of the Bible. We also aim to create an environment where people new to the Christian faith, or people skeptical of the claims of Christianity, can access rigorous but accessible teaching from the Bible that engages with our contemporary culture. We aim to be respectful of unbelief, other religions, doubt, or skepticism, but at the same time winsomely challenge the notion that the message of Christianity has no truth or relevance in our present culture. The Union Chapel is a good and safe place for doubters to have the freedom to process their take on the Christian faith.
